The athletics program at St. John's Catholic School offers basketball for grades (3rd - 8th) each school year. St. John's is an active member in the HISL (Huntsville Independent School League) which is a recreations level program in which approximately ten private schools participate in.
Practices start in October with the first game typically starting mid to late November. The season culminates with tournaments for grades 5th - 8th ending in late February.
Attention Coaches: ALL coaches and volunteers must follow the Diocesan Youth Protection Policy and attend the Youth Protection-I training every three years AND complete the AS-1 Background form. Contact the School Office for more information.
